really? which victory looked more impressive to you if you didn't have a dog in the fight?
LSU had the more impressive season in 2011. maybe the best regular season in college football history. you'll get yours in a couple weeks fool. ill ask you how impressive it was.

It all depends on the extent of the tear (obviously). Some meniscus tears don't even need surgery. Your meniscus is like an onion and when it tears to a significant extent it slides which will cause your knee to "go out".
That all said, I have a hard time believing that if they legitimately thought there was anything to the knee injury they would've marched him to the locker room with a quickness during that game. I was watching and they pretty much just slapped a brace on it and rolled with it. I don't know that they would have him practising at full speed on it either given his status with the team (starting QB). It just doesn't add up to me.
Tiger rant. Chill with the logic.

We've had our fair share.
Could you sustain losing 3 OL starters?

But then again, lately the Tiger Rant has been the place to hear all about Alabama football.
typical Gump whiny as BS........what a vagina
Like LSU having an injured QB wouldn't be a "story" to Bama fans.

The SEC will likely allow him to wear a green non-contact jersey for the MooState and LSU games.

Our own QBs "injury" created half the thread on the SECr that this one did on the Tiger Rant.

Are you too stupid to realize that the amount of LSU posters on TigerDroppings FAR outweigh the amount of Gumps??
Good lord what an asshat

1. I want to play Bamma at their best No Excuses!
2. All I have heard about this young man is he is a very Good Young man. It's sad if he is hurt. I want him to do well in life,(just not against LSU). I hope its minor!

Not to hijack, but after reading this thread on McCarron's mom over on the OT, I gotta say, I look at him in a bit of a different light.

You are supposed to close out that great season, like pinning a great jewel on on the crown to signify you are king! Alabama had been beat, a tough game for them, but they lost fair and square. We should have played another conference champ like Oklahama St. to further the conquest of beating great teams and close out the season with the the greatest college football season ever!!
maybe the best regular season in college football history.
Now nobody talks about that great season we played last year, it's almost like an after thought all because we got blanked 21-0 nothing by Alabama. They just kick everything we did out the window, like it was nothing. All because clueless Miles refused to throw the damn ball on these people in the second half, and failed miserably in gametime adjustments at halftime. All you hear about from people around the country is mannnnn, Alabama stuck it to you guys! It's like every team we conquested during the regular season was nothing and no big deal! All because we looked so bad in the national championship game! Pisses me the frick off!!

I just couldn't believe there would be a 9 page thread on his injury here and it only made 4 pages on the SEC Rant. All of this over what amounts to no one paying attention to coverage of the event. He played a full quarter after the injury. Then had it checked out again in Tuscaloosa. Practiced the last two days and is good to go for Saturday. Nick Saban doesn't withhold injury information. Why are people jumping all over what an unknown reporter tweeted?

He will be ok. He will play. Good.

Guy on finebaum's show disagrees. Said Saban keeps close lipped about injuries. Guy was with the press.

That's the way it goes when you get absolutely skull f,ucked in the NC game. I think I still have a case of PTSD from watching that trauma!
