problem with NBA 2K13

My xbox live will not work for this game for some reason. My network connection is before I start to play and for other games such as NCAA 13. Any advice on how I can get it to work?

Is your Xbox losing the connection or are you just not able to connect to 2k's server?

I have connection up until the game loads. Also, when I go to check connection everything is fine.
