There are two articles. One is by Nola the other by Tigerbait. I think the Tigerbait one is premium.

NOLA.com Recruits reaction

It is easy to see how LSU can get the recruits they get after an experience like that.”

Tigerbait Recruits Speak

quote:

"It was an awesome game, I saw that the offense was trying to throw a little more," Quinn said. "

That doesn't sound good at all. Even if you don't like them?

Williams stated. “I talked to some of the current guys at LSU like Eric Reid and Sam Montgomery. That was only once or twice though. That is about the only two guys that are at the programs I am looking at right now though that I have ever spoke with.”

He is at University Lab! How could he not have met or spoken to more than two?

At this point, it does look like LSU is a little more behind than most may want to believe. If Williams has a good visit to Miami, they would be sitting as the favorites going down the stretch. According to sources at Miami, they have felt like they were the strongest contender for some time.

Hmm - doesn't seem very optimistic.

how could a player go to Miami and see 30k in the stands and seriously consider them? plus with the penalties they are about to get?

you can not explain the unexplainable. It doesn't make sense to me either but Williams has been very consistent on his favorable view of miami.
Guess he really like the sun and sand, but anyway it's his call. good luck to him where ever goes, he seems to be a good kid, with exceptional talent.

I'm not sold on the thought that every prosect has national championships at the top of the list. There are lots of other factors that come into play. Hell, if I were in William's shoes I would be looking at the team that let me play from day one with my sights set on getting better for the NFL. The trick is getting the kid to believe your school is the best at getting someone with HIS skillset drafted.

We can talk about KeKe and Sam all day, but he might just be thinking that he'll get all the attention at Miami.

Williams will stay close to his kid meaning he will be at LSU when all the dusts settles.

Miami is beach and babes. Maybe the kid wants to party hard ... If so, Miami is the better designation.

I went to LSU and lived in BR for 8 years. I have also been to most other states and I've lived in Coral Gables. Believe me when I tell you, Coral Gables SUCKS! It is the last place in America I'd want to be again. It's 10x too crowded, NO ONE speaks English, and it can take an hour to get to south beach (which is EXTREMELY overrated).
Combine that with the coming penalties, and I hope for this kids sake that he stays in BR. It will be a MUCH better experience. South Beach is nice to visit a few times and hit the clubs, walk among the tourists, watch the Latinos dance at mangos, pay $30 a drink, etc; but I wouldn't wish living in Coral Gables on my worst enemy. I mean, if you rode over from Cuba on a door, Coral Gables is probably pretty sweet. Otherwise, it SUCKS!
