Copeland Personal Foul during INT return

Rewatching the game on ESPNU and they just showed the INT return with Copeland getting called for a personal foul. ESPN never showed what he did to get called for the penalty. Anyone know what it was for? Thanks.

The way the guy was laid out, looked like JC came back and blindsided him. But I don't know

He laid a guy out. Unfortunately it was 30 yards out of the play and be was on defense due to the interception.

That was unreal. Same exact thing happened to Landry earlier in the game and it was a no call because it was uncatchable.

The good thing is he got a nasty hit in and left a message and only got punished one yard.

So was the penalty just because of how far removed they were from the action downfield? If so, I guess I can see that. Thanks for the answer.

Yea it was. Neither were part of the play and he went to go hit someone. Didn't try to run and make a tackle(he had no chance)
