I was really high on him going into the 2011 draft & he has shown flashes of brilliance. The Saints should have stayed put & taken Murray in the 2nd round instead of moving back up to get Mark Ingram.

Murray has shown to be much better after first contact, a better receiver out of the backfield, better vision & breakaway speed than Ingram. Murray would have been a much better fit in the Saints offense.

Not everyone. Some questioned his durability while he was at Oklahoma & thought his injury issues may carry over into the NFL.

They were right. He got hurt last year and will probably get hurt this year too...

I don't think he's lasted a full season since he was a freshman at college. Isn't like he gets minor injuries either. Dude is going to be in pain when he gets older.

Murray is not a workhorse back. He's better built to share the work load just as the Saints do. Last year his injury occurred when Felix Jones went out for the season & Choice was traded. The entire work load was placed on his shoulders & he's just not that type of back.

Plus, any player would break their ankle the way his was rolled up on.

The only silver lining is that we moved up to get ingram for basically nothing. Seeing that if we still had that first rounder this past year goodell wouldve taken it

20/20 is the best plan for drafting for sure

That's true but I was already on the Murray bandwagon going into the 2011 draft. Boy was I wrong about the Saints taking Mark Ingram. Major fail on my part.
