Where did you play "big boy" ball at?, since that's apparently the only way an opinion can be credible in this thread.

Had Miles been more forthcoming after the NC Game in JAN, fans would be more forgiving today. But the fact that Miles expects fans to swallow his BS week after week is insulting. He's getting exactly what he deserves. He's brought it upon himself. His throngs of unrealustic cheerleaders are in denial and insist on taking the path of least resistance. Rah....rah....

I played in college as well, so different opinions.

But I disagree with you 100%.

I played basketball. Not football. But booing is booing. And I didn't make the big boy comment.

Eta: NAIA I'm 6'0 and white. Don't hate.

Etaa: played 5A football in high school

I'm not "pro-booing" in any way whatsoever. But for those saying it never helps anything, or at least has some sort of effect, you guys must not have been LSU fans in 2001. The turning point of that season was the TS crowd showering Saban and the LSU coaching staff with boos going into the half against Ole Miss. The boos were in reaction to the very conservative, and frankly miserable play-calling in the first half of that game. The play calling became much more explosive in the 2nd half though LSU ultimately lost. However, the next week against Alabama the offensive philosophy completely changed. You might remember that game, Josh Reed set an SEC record for receieving yards. For the rest of the season, LSU was an aggressive, attacking offense through the air, and went on to win the SEC and Sugar Bowl (scoring 45 in the process).

Again, I'm in no way encouraging booing. But there is no denying that that it had an effect that year

I could see how booing could effect a basketball player more than a football player. But I was horrible at basketball so I dont know

Our offense hasn't been playing with confidence for the last few weeks. Booing them doesn't help that, if anything, it'll make it worse. Boo the other team. Those bastards deserve it.

So what are we supposed to boo tonight? Not dropping back to pass fifty times because our oline is decimated...or for dropping back to pass 50 times and getting sacked 10 times cause our oline is decimated?

Gets embarrassed by the crowd cheering their team for getting a big hit on him. Ignores the embarrassment of being booed in his own stadium.
