Maybe my expectations for Warrior Dash were too high, but it was disappointing.

1. Fat asses everywhere holding the race up at every obstacle.
2. Maybe a result of letting too many people sign up.
3. Had to wait in line 45 minutes at the "information booth" to get my race packet
4. Miller Lite only beer

Honestly, it was fun but having to wait 5 minutes at every obstacle is ridiculous. Half the people don't even run the race because they are so outta shape which causes the huge backlog

Yeah, same thing happened last year. Especially obstacles one, two and three. I passed up most of the fat assessing after that though.

As with all things, it is what you make of it.

I mean you paid a whole lot of money to run a glorified obstacle course.

It was built to make it seem like you were doing something awesome.

It was probably a helluva lot more fun a couple of years ago.

I am close to giving up (15) on the CCC for almost the same reasons.

$135 to run long distances and end up standing around every 20 minutes? I mean, we had a good time but I will never pay that much money to do it again.

I'm probably just jealous that I'm not the one making so much money off of this shite

Did it not start out with one large starting line? Just get a good sprint in at the beginning and you should be ahead of the fat asses.

I didn't really think it was still cool to run a gimmick race

No all the fat people walk and you wait in long lines from the ones who start 30 minutes before you.

Another reason it sucked I was scheduled for 8:00am but we didn't even get to start until 9:30 because of them not having my packet ready.
