Minter is reminding me of Michael Brooks.

I've been watching LSU football since 1981, and during that time the best performance by an LSU LB that I have seen was Michael Brooks versus Baylor in the 1985 Liberty Bowl. I think Minter matched that performance last Saturday. I just wonder what his stats would have been had he played the entire game? - scary thought. Did I miss any other tremendous LB performances the past 30 years? Yes, I do sadly recall Brooks' performance was also in a losing effort, but it makes me admire both players even more - they kept on fighting in spite of an unimpressive offensive performance.

I agree the 2 games and performances are similar, but Minter is a lot different than MB. Both great, but the closest thing I've seen since '85 to Brooks has been Eric Hill. Does not take away from Minter's performance at all. I know that's what you're comparing.
