Great family comedy! Everytime the kids have friends over, we watch an episode during dinner. I always ask if they have seen this show before and they have not, but they all love it.

It's very funny, but I simply forget to watch the show.

totally unappreciated by the masses but a solid family sitcom.

It's a good middle class trash comedy. Pretty much fills the hole left by Malcom in the Middle.

Raising Hope is significantly better in the genre, but it's still great.

I used to love that show, but wanted to KILL Lois by the end of it's run.

I don't consider them the same genre. Poor is different than middle class.

Yes, it has really grown on me. I always did love Dr. Jan Itor. The daughter and youngest son crack me up.

I do, but the guy who plays the teenage boy is a terrible actor.

I don't even think his character is all that funny. He's just the ying to Sue's yang. But really I was just talking about his acting in general. He serves a purpose on the show, but he's not a good actor imo.

I enjoy the show. Sounds like Brick, who is 14, might have some trouble playing a 10 year old the way his voice is starting to change.

EDIT: I did not realize the child actor had this condition. "Osteogenesis imperfecta (OI) is a genetic disorder in which the body either does not make enough collagen or makes defective collagen. Since collagen provides structure for the bones, children with OI have bones that are less dense than normal and easily broken. OI can be passed on by a parent or can be the result of a spontaneous genetic mutation." LINK

my gf and her family watch it. It's alright, a little cheesy for me, but not bad. I prefer Modern Family and Community myself, but I can watch The Middle.

It remains a pretty cheap knockoff of Malcolm in The Middle.
