Rains of Castamere. Written when Tywin crushed the Reynes of Castamere. They sing it before battles to show that you don't cross the Lannisters (they sing it in the tavern with Bronn before Battle of Blackwater)
It was the signal to start the massacre at the Twins
They also played it at the end of the episode in the credits as well, so they are setting it up as a reoccuring thing a little bit.

I vaguely remember that one time somebody opposed Tywin, and he just sent them a singer to sing it to them
what a frickin badass. rip tywin

That's fitting since it was mentioned about every 10-15 chapters or so after the 1st time you hear about it.

ETA: YES. During the end of RW, this would be fricking awesome.
"A lion still has claws...............and they are as long and sharp as yours, my Lord....." Perfect song for the ending of the episode.

And the people he had it sung to promptly gave up the insurrection they were planning. Tywin was a true badass despite being a hypocritical asswipe to his son.

God I loved Tywin.
In my ideal world, he and Littlefinger would rule everything.

Yes, Tywin was a great character. But that's why I loved Robb. 16 year old was putting it to the great Tywin. I wish neither had died.

Wish I didn't have RW spoiled for me. Made my first read of SOS just a waiting game for it. I couldn't focus because of my non-stop thinking about it, and when it happened, I was like damn. Made Viper v Gregor so awesome though

I would have been so pissed. I had a bad feeling a few pages in to that chapter, but Arya being 'dead' at the end of the chapter was just a punch to the gut. I've avoided spoilers at all costs with this shite.
I'm about to restart book 4. I had to give up for awhile b/c I was consumed for a month with this shite.

This and Dany taking out the slavers were two of my most sit up and say hell yell moments of the series. The viper getting taking out was much sadder to me than Ned or RW by a long shot, he was totally awesome.

Only solid prediction I can make for S3 is after TRW airs, we'll have to cue the
"That's it. I was pissed about Ned, but now I REALLY will never watch this show again!"
music from the illiterate fricktards.
Honestly, it would be an extremely bad idea for them to end that episode with Arya taking the axe, since I'm sure half the audience would leave after that. At least as of now Catelyn and Rob aren't fan favorites, but Arya would send people over the edge.
Seriously, did anyone NOT page flip after reading that sentence?

I sure as hell did. What was the sentence? Something about the Hound's axe swinging into the back of her head?

That's not how I read her. When Sansa spilled her guts to the Tyrell women Maegary seemed to take it in stride that Joffrey was a monstrous little count. That could have been naivety but I took it that she was knee deep in Lady Olenna's plotting.
Definitely. Maegary had to known when not to drink out of the cup. They weren't going to run that risk of killing the girl they were trying to protect.

That fight should be sweet too cause Arya will be freaking out and he takes some heavy damage from Sandor
Honestly I can't wait to see the Arya and Hound on screen together. I'm guessing this will be Season 4, but we better see those two duel together. Some of my favorite chapters in the series are really Arya and the Hound prowling through the Riverlands. Loved when the Hound gave those guys at the Ferry a "knight's honor" to pay them.

frick that, tywin is a top 5 character for me
Tywin dying was probably my favorite chapter in the series. That final exchange between Tywin and Tyrion is completely perfect.

I didn't, but I figured it was a fake out like the one from book 1 when she gets her hair cut off. Sandor really had zero reason to kill her.

It didn't say it was him. Just said axe to the back of the head. Thought someone else did it.

The scene I'm most looking forward to won't come until season 5 or 6 honestly. The scene I'm most looking forward to is Barristan dueling Hizdahr's pit fighter body body guard.
The pit fighter says "only cowards wear armor" and barristan replies " this coward is about to kill you , Ser."
