agreed and said as much lastnight, taco is good in small doses. It usually sucks when an episode is centered around him or he plays a big part.

but wildcat will pitch a hissy and say you're being overly critical if you weren't in the thread at everything

First off, at you of all people talking about someone throwing a hissy fit.

And second, did you even read my posts? The only thing ive argued in this thread is about BMS, and that I thought that one guy that thought it was so bad that he didnt want to watch the show anymore. Most if not all of my posts were about the two shows in general, not this specific episode

My post to you earlier was more of a point that it doesnt matter what the episode, how funny/good or bad it is, there is always one poster on this board that will post "Am I the only one that thought it sucked?" it happens for every show and i thought it was funny. Couldnt care less if you didnt like the episode, that wasnt my point

Finally watched this last night.

I thought the beginning part was awesome with the draft fantasy/dream and the ending in the hospital was legit.

I'm not sure if it rivals Esp. 1 of last season with the Dirty Randy sex orgy. I literally LOLed for 20 minutes watching that

I agree. Funny, but not the strongest start compared to other seasons.

I couldn't even finish it. The opening with the race for the first pick was horrific. Cringe worthy scene after cringe worthy scene.

Solid F on the ratings scale. Oh, and I love the show and watched all of season 3 over again the day it became available on Netflix.

I thought it was okay, but still disappointing. I feel like they feel like they have to use real NFL personnel as much as possible. And that's fine sometimes, but a lot of times it just feels really (really) forced. That's how this was for me. I still liked the episode, and it had a lot of other awesomeness in it, but the whole Cowboys thing was jammed down our throats. As an example of one I liked was when they used Chad Johnson in Vegas that one episode...that was cool/funny.

I think all of the cameos have felt over the top forced. Weakest part of the series is the cameos.

Over exaggerating tiger.
Reading that made me uncomfortable.

Yes. That, the Ochocinco episode, Terry Bradshaw and Matthew Berry were the only NFL personalities that worked. All the rest felt forced. The opening scene to this season felt incredibly forced.

Nothing will ever beat the shiva bowl shuffle.

I still think this is the most asinine criticism of a show. It felt forced? It didn't feel natural?

Seriously!? After the Shiva Bowl shuffle you really say that an actual scripted draft was forced?

Quit being stupid and enjoy the show for what it is.

The most asinine criticism is someone criticizing someone else's criticism because they don't agree with said criticism.

The great thing about this show is that it feels natural. It's a semi-scripted show and it comes off as such. Everyone seems to be genuinely laughing and playing off each other's impromptu comments. This episode didn't play like that. If you don't agree, that's fine. But don't blast my criticism because you don't agree with it.

And yeah, the opening scene felt forced. The acting was bad. It wasn't funny. There were too many "other" people in the episode to allow the actual characters to do what they do best. It felt like they were actually reading a script. It didn't work.

I love this show. I've seen every season 3 times. I do enjoy the show for what it is, but this episode just didn't stand up to the others.

You think that was the moment the show jumped the shark? It was Ochocinco or the Shiva Bowl Shuffle?

This show has been entirely over the top from episode 1. I'm not about to start calling it forced NOW.

i mean if people think its not over the top when people "rosterbate" or make trades instead of doing their hot wife then they need to give it up.
