Ricky is the man. Really nice guy that was a victim of circumstances. More people should hate Mike Ditka for being a dumbass, but they instead direct their anger at Williams. The only way he could have justified what Ditka did was to rewrite the NFL record books annually.

You are so full of sunshine. So of the 24 hours in a day that Gordon has to devote solely to his profession he couldn't spare 3 to support his team? It's not like he's supposed to not walk on it. Short of that was the only time the therapist could schedule him, there is no excuse for him to not be there due to his injury. His excuse is likely he didn't want to be there which is why I'm starting to wonder if he's got anxiety issues.

I don't hate Gordon, but I'm just getting concerned about chemistry issues. It feels like he's never been able to play or practice long enough to get used to his teammates and vice-versa.

You guys are idiots. Do any of you believe for a second that Monty would have let him have treatment during a game if he wasn't happy with it?

I see where you're coming from, but I don't mind him getting extra treatment since it's a preseason game. Regular season games would be a different story. It's been pretty obvious that he's an awkward guy and isn't the sharpest tool in the shed. I don't think he would intentionally schedule therapy to avoid being around his teammates, especially since he chose to participate in the voluntary workouts over the summer. I honestly think that his intentions are to get healthy as soon as possible.

Oh please. Much like Gordon everybody in Nola wanted to love Ricky but he made things harder for himself with bizarre behavior. NOLA's media is pretty soft and doing dumb shite like interviews with a helmet on is just begging for criticism.

You missed my point. Completely.

I'm talking about the obvious social anxiety/ possible social disorder he has.

The guys suffers from severe social anxiety disorder. Either way, if that's the biggest gripe you have with Ricky, your hatred is misdirected.

bullshite. Saints fans love having a Saints player to hate.

Ricky's gone, I hate Bush. Bush is gone, I hate Ingram.

The Goodell hate has kept it quiet for the most part, but it's only a matter of time.

I really didn't miss your point at all. It is a legitimate concern, but something that can be handled if dealt with properly. Unfortunately, New Orleans produces some pretty venomous fans, so that will make it tough.

I don't think Monty cares if Gordon misses a preseason game for treatment, the question is, why did Gordon choose to get treated during a preseason game? Smith is also injured and presumably undergoing treatment but he was at the game.

I don't hate Ricky, never did, but he had severe social anxiety in Miami and at Texas and there were no helmet interviews at either spot.

True but he didn't take the brunt at that time. The Billy Joes and Alex Molden all the took the brunt of fan criticism during Ricky's Saints tenure. Fans didn't really turn against him until his last few games.

He certainly did in Miami. As for New Orleans, the guy was under a serious microscope and was constantly reminded that the Saints gave up a draft and a half to get him. That is an insane amount of public pressure. Okay, if you could hear his voice and you knew it was him under the helmet answering questions, why make it such a big deal? Seriously, that's some dumb shite to hold against him.

Again I didn't care but if you do that or if you tweet about watching a college game while your team is playing you are begging for criticism.

Clearly you do care. Trying to equate that to Gordon not watching the Hornets game is pretty silly.

They are just preparing team for when Gordon misses a chunk of the season??

Prolly no big deal.

Either way with Gordon's injury past I see good possibilities for the Hornets!
