LINK

I'm at work and haven't been able to watch the video in here. Does it look legit? Somebody tweeted it to Vilma and he said he'd have Ginsberg look at it.

PFT Florio as a lawyer will be all over this. Early on he pointed out how unprofessional that using transcribed documents (what the NFL did first) is and that is something that could never even be remotely possible in a court of law. Of course we ain't talking an institution of justice here.

I just passed this along to Larry Holder and Mike Triplett. I'm sure I'm not the first one's to do so. People need to see this.

did the NFL really leave the illustrator layers in the document?! if this is legit, holy shite

before layers added:

after layers added:

and here is a video of the guy turning on and off the different layers
Wow

here is the .pdf and when you blow it up, you can clearly see the variations in the color and crispness so the document was definitely touched up/edited LINK

the note is so illegible the NFL took it upon themselves to "fill in the blanks"

On the note where it says "QB TAKE OUT", I think they were just saying Drew was going to pick-up some Chinese take-out for one of their team meetings.

the only thing is I bet the NFL will argue that the original note was so faded that they were forced to touch it up because the scan couldn't clearly see the numbers

it was definitely edited, but was it edited falsely or just to sharped what was already there?

I just cant believe the NFL would release it without condensing it... seriously, is the NFL this inept? First the ledger with incorrect facts, now this? It's embarrasing

I love how the little squiggle line next to Vilma morphs into "QB"

If someone tried to pull this stunt in a court of law and never disclosed what they did (and the league never disclosed what they did here, somebody found it), they'd be looking at sanctions and an adverse inference ruling.

This looks like a job for the Fark Board.

wow.

evidence tampering.
The only issue is that regardless if they tampered with it or not, they will say it was justified.

Get your popcorn ready (this is from SR)

This letter was supposedly written Cerullo, who Gregg Williams said "handled all this stuff"...but look at the "G"

So why would Gregg Williams be the creator of this document if Cerullo was the one keeping track of all of it?

There is no way the NFL would "create" a document in adobe illustrator, leave the layers, and present it as evidence....right? These very smart people with expensive educations could not have possibly been this dumb. I refuse to believe it....for the sake of expensive education and humanity.

Someone on Saints Report made a good point here:

quote:

Im no handwriting expert but i can clearly see a major difference between the "r" in Ornstein and Grant, compared to the "r" in Harper, and the "r" in Tracy P. 3 different versions of the letter "r".

it doesn't matter...that is very clearly Gregg Williams' handwriting (it is almost impossible that Creullo would have that same style of G)

if Williams wrote this letter the NFLs whole case is a lie...the bottom of the letter even says "Get with Gregg on amounts"
