I feel like he may be the most polarizing player on the team this year as the Love/Hate is split about 50/50 on this board. Here's a thread for all of the Austin Rivers discussion. I will try to keep the stats at the bottom updated.

Through 3 preseason games:

FG: 9/27(33%), 3PT: 0/8 (0%), FT: 9/12 (75%), AST: 5, REB: 11 (11 DEF, 0 OFF), TO: 2 (88 Minutes), STL: 4, +/-: +17

Can you do the stats on a per game basis? For instance, ppg/apg/rpg/etc.

I'm terrible at math, so it would help out as we get more games under our belts.

That 0 for 6 behind the arc doesn't look so good

Hopefully he finds his shot

His turnover numbers are impressive so far.

Seems like he doesn't quite have nba range consistency or maybe he is consistent at zero percent...hmm can't tell

i like this thread. I like the guy. He can get to the hoop. needs to improve his outside shooting.

He looks very smooth out there. I like what I see so far.

He definitely needs to work on FTs, range, and ball protection.

Great thread idea. Can you include a turnover category as well? I know he doesn't have any yet to record, but he was much maligned for his turnover rate. So, that will be something both sides of this argument would like to keep up with, I feel.

D. Wade is not a great outside shooter either. Rivers just needs to keep attacking and getting to the rim. I think he could be special.

If he continues to have a solid preseason and start to the regular season, do we trade Gordon to get help at other positions?
