FWIW, Magee was a high school qb.

I thought it was a great play. May have worked on 2nd down.

The dumbest part was putting in Magee that was an instant red flag that something was up.

Putting the 3rd back in alluded to the pass. As did 3rd down.

The roll out right with no receivers is an interestingly designed play.

Two successive timeouts, then, the sudden appearance of McGee. We'd been better off just showing the trailer for "Jump Pass" on Florida's stadium screen.

jesus christ, just thinking about the entire situation.

a double timeout, and then insert a seldom used player into the game for the most important play of the first half.

the two timeouts were for this reason:

first one was called because of mechanical failure with the headsets and the plays werent being called to the sideline properly

the second timeout was used because a play was called with the incorrect personnel on the field, thus not being able to run said play.

if the play works, you people are praising the man. truth be told, if magee heads off tackle right, he probably walks in.
