Rooting for; because given the extreme outside chance that the Giants somehow win three straight in Cincy I would rather play the Cards than the Nats.

I understand that. But without HIM they are a totally a different team. Plus the playoff experience factor. The Giants have it and the Nats don't. The Cards are loaded with it.

The Cards live for the postseason. Does anyone realize that the two World Series that they've won in the past 5 years, they did it as a wild card team...which means that they had the toughest playoff schedule in the playoffs?
The Cards live for this. They get hot at just the right time. Perhaps other teams should take notice. They have a sneaky strategy that works.

I don't think anyone is doubting the Cards' chances of getting to and winning the World Series. They are the defending champs after all.
