Many people are down on the on the football program right now, but no matter how down we get we will always love LSU. Or at least I will. After a lose sometimes shows you how much passion you have for your school. I felt more passionate about the tigers saturday then i ever did last year when we were kicking teams arse. Give a time when you realized your inner love for the tigers.
Couple of mine would be
1. Monday night loss to tennessee at home in 2005, destroying my room afterword
2. Still root in on the tigers at the end of the third game against
stony brook.
3. Going to LSU basketball games when we are terrible

Just because someone doesn't believe in Les Miles doesn't mean that they don't love LSU.

I have lost faith in Miles but I still go to the games and cheer on the Tigers.

During the Archer and Hallman years. Especially when I was in undergrad at UCF but still watching, listening, reading anything that was out there regarding any LSU sports.

I'm not accusing the OP of doing this, but man for the last month or so we've all had to put up our LSU resume and sell ourselves as tried and true LSU fans/grads/etc. Enough of the qualifying already!

This thread sure flirts with going in that direction though.

As longhorn stated, you don't have to drink the LSU kool aid and deify Les Miles in order to call yourself an LSU fan. As with everything else, there's a whole lot of gray area between sunshine pumper and negatiger.

Never truer said. I've loved the Tigers before most of you were born. shite, probably before your parents were born. Also a graduate. Just because someone criticizes the coaching staff doesn't mean they have lost their allegiance to the school. BECAUSE we love LSU is why we are concerned when the school now pays millions of dollars to individuals who are supposed to utilize and develop quality talent that we are fortunate enough to recruit each year. Just do the math:
poor play performance = loss of talented recruits = more game losses = back to the '90s = coaching changes (best part).

First game, when the band took the field. I thought, this is heaven, since I was 6.

I don't want to relive the 90s that is why so many are on verge of Melting down. He has had plenty of time to fix the Offense. I no longer believe he knows how and it looks like his team doesn't either. That my friends is a bad combination. Usually the start of... well you know what I'm thinking.

Amen, I went on Sunday and bought an LSU Umbrella and 2 LSU beach chairs with an LSU cooler for 109.99 at Winn Dixie.

When I clobbered my first wheelchair bound senior citizen with a piss balloon back in 2003. She had the audacity to wear Florida garb into BR.

Been hooked ever since.

A thread about how much you love LSU and 4 of the first 13 responses are anti Miles. Wow, just wow.

1966 was the first game for me. Finally wore down the old mans will and made him take me. That's when I took the bait and was hooked.

A couple of days ago when I realized I'd still love LSU more than La Tech, even if Tech were winning championships and LSU wasn't....and I attended La Tech.

Not me.

I'm more ashamed of many in this fanbase than the football program.

But I guess I'm just a "sunshine pumper" for not jumping off a bridge after the first regular season loss since the 2010 season.
