He is improving. Alot. I hated his guts for a while, but he started to turn things around at the end of last season. And he continues to get better.

One's career is just starting on a good note, the other is ending on a sad note.

Maybe the best player on the D this year. Guy is an animal. Thanks ATL. He makes losing Vilma not hurt.

Since I know Spags reads this board constantly and takes our advice: Give someone else these snaps please. Thanks.

I had no idea this guy has been on the field over 50% of the time. NOt sure if i havent been paying attention or he's literally don nothing to make me notice him.

While I agree Martez needs to be on the field more, don't think he played that great against the chargers....other than the lucky sacks at the end.

No. I think he's playing well enough. I'll admit, not as well as I'd hoped, but FS is far from our biggest problem this year. I still wear his jersey every gameday. The defense as a whole started off way worse than i expected it too. At pretty much every position. I'm trying to stay positive where i can.

With the injuries at CB there is no one else. Unfortunately we're going to have to sit through White getting baptized this season.

Jenkins is grading out as one of the worst safeties in the league this season, and he's not even responsible for as much space as last season, nor is he receiving as little help as last season. Just sayin

Defense. Change rotation. Can't hurt.

a good bit of this with him used as OLB, which I like.

I like this too!!

Reminds me a of Chief using bigger safeties at OLB.

Puts better athletes on the field

Doing what he can with what he's got...which ain't a lot lol. But in all seriousness I think the D will progressively get better. Will we ever be the 49ers? No but they will at least be able to hold their own.
