Moon's is a great place to eat. I drive by it almost every week. Great steaks and ribs. That's a cool site...I know some of the folks in there.


Chickadilly has great chicken…and the one in Homer is the best.

Another place if you’re ever in Homer at lunch time is Homer Seafood. They have seafood baskets. It’s very good for a town the size of Homer.

Is the Port-Au-Prince restaurant still there? Ate there many years ago and they just had 2 things on menu - catfish or steak.

Recall the catfish was pretty good.

It's still there, but imo, it's not as good as it used to be.

Homer is between Monroe and Shreveport, but it's more in the NW part of the state in Claiborne Parish.
