Right, because AJ McCarron spends his game day prep dressing up in the team hotel and tweeting the pictures. What else you got, bro?

Really curious as to how you know what AJ's personal habits (and Metts) really are on game day.

Answer the first question and the answer to your second will probably be more interesting.

I see you may live in the Great Frontier, so I'll excuse the ignorance. Mett's gameday prep for Towson included dressing up like Ron Burgundy. He then made the Tiger Walk dressed the same. I don't know much about McCarron's personal habits -- aside from some God-awful tattoos -- but I do know that he would not dare tweet his clowning around on gameday to the world.

Well, there you go. It was just a gut feeling you were pulling out your arse. I thought so, but you may be McCarrons hair dresser or something, so thought I would give it a shot.

You do realize all the players dress up in suits for the tiger walk right?

What was he supposed to do, carry a laptop with him on the tiger walk watching game film?

So the frick what if the guy wore a suit similar to ron burgandy for the tiger walk?

Maybe next week he will dress like Sinatra.

Here is something to think about, when teams can stop our rushing attack, or at least contain it, our offensive output will diminish a ton.

We live on rushing the football. When we can't do that, we can't run playaction and our offensive scheme does not allow for us to rely on the pass to win games.

If you think Mett should be benched, then you are indeed one of the idiots. Or Idiotic as you like to say.

Do you disagree? Do you think that McCarron does that on gameday? Do you think Saban & Co. wonder whether their QB has his hea din the game or thinking about tracking down some coeds?

Oh no, I had no clue. Nice try dumbass. Yes, the other players ACTUALLY dress up and look serious. This clown (as W. Blackwell stated) plays dress up.

Who ever said that? Would be nice though if he did some of that instead of living in the local bar scene.

Can't help you here. If that's what you think your QB ought to be doing on gameday, you are too far gone for help.

Dude, I have no clue what McCarron or Tyler Wilson do or who they do on game day.

I really don't want to interrupt your fantasies because it's clear you put so little thought into them but the way he dressed before Towson is the very least of our worries.

Then why the frick are you calling for the QB to be benched when it isn't the qb who is the reason for the offense being bad?

Im tired of the know-it-alls on this board pinning shite on Mett. There is a variety of reasons we looks out of wack on offense. Frankly Mett is not the root of the issue.

You don't have NFC personnel directors talking about a how well a back-up looks in pre-game warm ups (NC game) when the dude sucks. Are his talents being fully utilized? No.

But when you have 2 receivers running routes... and those receivers can't create seperation, can't consistently catch the ball, and don't hold on to the ball what do you want the QB to do?

Ask the D very nicely to stop covering his receivers? With only two receivers running routes, all a D has to do is go man on the receivers and put a safety over top to keep any POTENTIAL completion in front of him. With that setup the D can keep 8 in the box all game long.

But you are right, the issues are clearly that Mett wore a turtle neck before townson.

ETA: Put a Byrd, Bowe, La Fell, even an RR, on this offense and it looks completely different. We are missing the receiver who can find ways to get open... wether that be with pure speed or crisp route running. There are alot of nuances at the WR position that take alot of time to develop. Shep has the speed to break open, but it does not appear to me he has learned how to use that to his advantage yet.

Ok who the frick cares what he wears?

Maybe the that is his way of loosening up.

Ok, so you know for a fact Mett does nothing in the film room and does not prepare one bit for games, and all he does is party and chase whores?

And FYI, if you were at LSU in 2007, Flynn lived at bars, I would say he had a pretty solid QB year.

The only thing I care about my 18-23 year old players do is prepare, execute and stay out of trouble. What ever the guy wears as long as it isn't bad publicity for the university doesn't matter to me. The guy can show up dressed like Elvis if he wants to.

These guys are still in college, Jesus they can have a little fun right?

WAKE THE FCK UP MORON. The QB is A reason (i.e. one of many) that the offense has been bad. You are the type of fan that has blind allegiances/illogical opinions, because I'd bet a sizable sum of money that if it were JJ behind center, you'd be calling for Mettenberger.

The bottom line is that he is just not that good. He's not this bad either, but he's not that good.

Well said, apparently this arse hat thinks college football players should have no social life at all... not even time for a joke. It should be nothing but running plays in your head from the time you wake up until they goto bed. I'd be willing to bet the OP doesn't even have a clue as to what the typical day for a college football player is like.

The typical day is grueling, and the next day doesn't get any easier or better. If these young men aren't allowed to have a little bit of fun or even allowed to have a personality then someone needs to start hiring therapists for the team. They would go insane.

You really are hopeless. What do you want, Rivers? Bolden? Guys with less experience?

If we can't run the ball and protect our qb, it does not matter how good or bad he is, we will look inadequate on offense.
