Serious Question: Can Rivers beat S. Carolina

I just don't believe that Mett will finish this game with Clowney all over our patchwork quilt OL. Honestly Mett is too slow and will likely get his bell rung a few times this weekend. This is not a flame because it has happened every game this year. Just don't see the him playing a full game.

Just let it play out and we'll see.

I see a lot of shotgun this weekend.

Let's just see how it plays out before we jump to conclusions.

I dont think we'll see more shotgun.
Nothing will be different. nothing. Miles said so in his press conference, and all information supports his assertion.

Yeah I guess we'll see but Mett has been knocked down plenty of times this year in max protection and then you still limit your passing game with only sending 2 WRs out at a time. It's like if we use 3 wrs, 50-60% of the time it is a screen pass. And For God's sake, tell Mett to step up in the pocket.

If he can come in and block for Mett then yes.

You are likely correct. Nothing will change with offense this week. Same deal.

To answer your question... No. I really don't think he can. Our best chance is with Zach.

If Mettenberger is knocked out, I think we're done. Not real sure, as we've never seen Rivers.

I was praying for this during Aubarn, Did we adjust for a better DL in UF, nope.

TBH, I agree with the OP.
If we don't adjust as the game goes when they bring different looks, Mett is gonna get his shite rocked.

I agree. every word.
I would practice the wildcat and run it from down #1.
Bolden or McGee or Ware. I would give them all a few snaps each. they can have their own drives.
I would not give them Mett and Rivers to rack up. Let them live to play next year when we have a whole O-line.

I know it would never happen but it would be pretty interesting to see ware in the wildcat with Hilliard, Ford/Shepard in the back field. Lots of power with a sprinkle of speed. Could do some massive damage if schemed properly!
