Offense looking at least half decent and not put the defense on the field for 15 minutes longer than the offense was out there.

Similar to ours but if we stop their rushing attack it should help. Look for them to do the same.

If LSU can't get the passing game going, they will not beat the gamecocks. Their run D is just too stout. Look what they did to "Gurshal" this past weekend. It's a well known fact that their secondary is their weak link. The problem is, their front four is very good at getting pressure on the QB in passing situations.

Run an offense that doesn't get the defense killed on TOP.

UF: 37:30
LSU: 22:30

What really baffles me is that the offense has actually driven the ball and looked good in the first 2 drives of the game against Auburn (fumble at the 2 and a TD drive) and the first against UF (drove at will and kicked a FG to start the game).

The play calling on those drives has seemed very different than the rest of the respective games. Is it because we had a lead in the games after those drive and got ultra ultra conservative?

I mean on the first drives in those games we were throwing the ball and running it with a good balance. I think against UF Mett was like 3/4 for 41 yards and the incompletion was that drop by Kadron Boone at about the 10-12 yard line. Low pass but surely should have been caught. I feel like in both instances once we had that lead we just stopped doing the things that got us that lead.

So in other words, if we drive down the field and score a TD or kick a FG goal early then maybe we should keep the pedal to the medal.

Pass protect
Move the ball down the field
Score touchdowns
Don't fumble
Eliminate stupid penalties

You know, just the stuff we can't do

Single back sets, 3 WR, 1 TE.

Running the ball out of this formation would be infinitely easier than I-formation and 9 in the box.

Hope Clowney and their other DE get some tainted sesfood Friday night. Heck, any taint will do. If they play against our OL they might put Mett out for the season.
