That being said, how does the next guy get any experience while Mett gets his "on the job training"? I do not see this trend of lackluster QB production ending...

we already have an experienced junior, the transfer from State Penn.

he's a dual threat guy with moxie.

I love the quote "on the job training". People act like Mett isnt still learning. Yes lets start preparing the guys who wont start until 2014 to take away reps from the QB with 6 games under his belt because clearly he has seen all the action he needs to see to be fully developed.

Yes please go bang your head against a wall somewhere else.

That should have been done while we were playing the likes of Towson and Idaho, but we were too busy dicking around. We do not believe in the adage prepare for the worst and hope for the best.

I think you just agreed with the OP while arguing with him. You've entered some paradox. I'm so confused.

Afraid you missed the point sir. I in no way said take Mett out. I am pursuing the point that while Mett is gaining much needed and useful experience, it is possible that no other QB will see enough playing time to provide experience when it is his time to lead the team.

Bolden had his starting job taken from him last year, and was only completing 39% of his passes. fumbling and interception issues. Does not have natural talent Mett has. Bolden would not help this situation.

ok

then RS10, or McGee or the freshman dual threat QB or Ware.
someone not named Mett.
I have seen Mett. he has less pocket awareness than JJ.
Plus both JJ and JL were better short passers.
Mett has a cannon. Yes. and that's it, so far.

I TAKE IT BACK. I just re-ran instant replay of JJ throwing behind guys or into the ground. Mett > JJ on short passes.

Mett will be much improved next year, and rivers will get the snaps for experience he needs next year. Mett needs every snap he can get.

You get pocket awareness with experience, SEC football is a little faster than juco. He's our best option, and he needs the experience especially sense he's not getting drafted, obviously, and hes going to be our guy next year. It helps when receivers catch the ball/ dont fumble after they catch it. If obj doesnt fumble that long pass, and we come back and win that game the Mett qb conversation isnt even coming up. Boone dropped passes also for first downs, copeland dropped a first down pass. We have to catch the ball.

Why do we keep making excuses for Mett? He's played six games and has a year of junior college play under his belt.

For some perspective, in his sixth game last year, AJ McCarron went 23/30 for 237 yards and 4 TDs against Vandy, and ultimately won the national title in his first year as a starter.

Some people actually think Bolden is good just because he is on our team. If you didnt like JJ, you dont want to see Bolden. Dude is a terrible QB.

Truth

Bolden was really really bad at penn state

And with the Lsu coaching, I'm sure he's even worse now
