Said on ESPN that S. Carolina will only need 7 or 6 points to beat LSU this weekend.

UF only needed 14. We scored 6 on there defense. And SC DL are better than UFs.

Might be right.

USCe defense > UF defense

7 or 6? that’s a lot. A safety should suffice for SC to get in the victory formation.

ETA: I'm watching that college football show on ESPNU hosted by Dari Nowkhah. Man, did someone from LSU screw his girlfriend/wife? This guy seems like he absolutely despises LSU.

He might be right but those points will be difficult to come by.

I liek Palmer too. he usually gives us the most credit.

i can't say I disagree with him. he may be using a little hyperbole here, but his point stands.

I don't know. Two field goals don't feel like actual "scoring" to me.

Fact.

They will work hard to get though 6 or 7 though. Their D however will not have to put in much work.

This could very well be true, given the state of our offense the past 3 weeks. It has become a sad trend, turnovers at the worst possible moment, no passing threat to speak of, running game is pathetic and special teams are average at best.
Again, if we hold on the football (no turnovers) and cut down the penalties, we will be in the ball game.

We really only scored 3. The defense should get the credit for the other 3

Haha hey i agree without a doubt. Especially when 1 of our FGs was after our D forced a fumble and we got the ball inside the 10 . But, points go on the board its a score haha

I agree with him. They may only need to score a few more points than Palmer suggests but the bottom line is we can't score. We have enough personel wise but we don't make very good ingame adjustments. Also we don't run any plays it seems to try and neutralize the speed of the defense (misdirection, counters, screens). This is why we will continue to struggle against better defenses.

He could be right, after all, at this point we are averaging 9 per game in the SEC.
