The #1 OT in the country for 2014...should make a great guard one day.

Collins looks good at guard, he is our best lineman by far right now

Collins does look pretty good out there. I just find it strange he hasnt been given a shot at LT with the curret LT play. Seems JD will fill the LG spot better than LT, and Hurst could handle the RT. But, what do I know?

I'm with you. What does it hurt at this point to try? Maybe something will actually go right for us.

“It’s LSU, Alabama and Texas,” he said. “I’m kind of leaning more towards LSU and Alabama"

I know he's coming in this weekend but do you bring him in when you play Alabama?

I ask this b/c both schools are in his top 3 and the atmosphere will be amazing. The only problem could be the outcome of the game. If he is or isn't invited to that game does it speak of how confident Miles is when LSU and Bama meet?

This may be a stupid question but I really don't know. Do you bring in a top recruit and let him see what could be a loss agaist the school you are up against when it comes to his recruitment or do you let him come down b/c you may beat said team?

I may have answered my own question.

I think you bring him in anytime you can. The more he is around the staff, campus, players, etc. the better. Especially with the atmosphere for that game. If we win these next 2 games (somehow) it will be Florida 07 ruckus in TS.

Collins is playing guard because chris faulk is a 1st round left tackle, honestly.

I guess they're keeping him there while he's out because he'd have to move back next year anyway.

I imagine he's also invited to every basketball and baseball game as well if he wants to go to them.

Anything to get him on campus. Actually, forget baseball and basketball, get to a volleyball game.

If we inserted him after the first quarter do you think anyone would notice?

Depends. If we put him in at RT possibly, but at LT definitely. Don't think too hard about why, it's pretty obvious.

I'm a big advocate of Collins at LT but watch the tape if you have a chance. He misses a lot of blocks in pass protection especially on the blitz. Don't think it's the feet but mental. Many will say LT is less thinking and just one on one and I can agree with that but just giving a little insight into maybe why he isn't trusted in that position at this point. He's our best OL and is fantastic in the running game and good when just straight up one on one in pass pro but when stunts and blitzes happen, he has some issues.
