Per Michael Bonnette, the last time LSU beat a top 5 team at home at night was in '97 vs Spurrier coached Florida when no. 14 LSU defeated no. 1 UF, 28-21

couldn't you have fit that into your thread title so I wouldn't have had to click on the thread?

That was my first game. The next day at the saints game I remember them constantly putting on the score board not to rush the field in the dome the saints were winning and it was rare back then

Uf was ranked 9th or so in 2007. They had just lost to auburn the week before.

Not sure about how many top 5 at night since 97. Don't even know where to start looking

Sometimes those little tidbits done have much punch if you really break it down. I dont know the answer either but when guys come out with those stats like that, they make it sound like we play top 5 night games at home every year. I bet its only a couple of times, max.

That was an awesome game, thought I'd share instead of adding to the negative rantards

Just thought it was interesting and I'd share

USCe hasn't looked that great on the road this year against Vandy/UKy. They may have played their best game, at home/night against an overrated UGa team. I like LSU's chances.

Apparently Vegas likes our chances too, we are favored 2.5

How many top 5 teams have we played at home and at night since then. My guess is not many, 1 or 2 at most.

Read the one page thread. That question has already been asked

2009 Florida is the only other time we've played a top 5 team at home at night, so yeah it's an irrelevant stat. all our other top 5 matchups have been on cbs at 2:30
