As I said before, if this guy doesn't get his shite straight he won't be in the league much longer.
This is the kind of dumb shite that make people respond in these threads. If Ron Rivera calls QB run on 4th and 1 the last two weeks there is a 90% chance Carolina is 3-2 right now.

Rivera didn't make that call. There's a reason they threw it. Teams self scout and scout so probably had real good reason to throw.

When you have to get less than a yard there is a 95% chance Cam is going to get it. Rivera or not, if they had let him run it up the middle out of shotgun on 4th and 1 the last two weeks they almost certainly win and none of this is even being talked about. Now he's a couple of weeks from being out of the league. It's ridiculous.

I would like to weigh in on the matter, however an Auburn fan will accuse me of not being over 28-27 if I do.
You mean, it's like Bama fans saying LSU fans aren't over 1/9/12 ,when any LSU fan states a fact that you gumps don't like?
Hypocrite much?

We already know its coming on ESPN First Take and all the other shows.
Cam was clutch in college. He was never questioned as a leader. He handled adversity tremendously in college.
Now Cam is flustered, unclutch, and the Incredible Sulk.
Where is the swag? The confidence?

Could it be that the NFL isn't College and even a player from the vaunted SEC can not be a one man wrecking crew in the NFL. I mean how's it working out for Payton and the Broncos?
The formula to beat Carolina = stop the run, shutdown Steve Smith, and molest the secondary. Until that is addressed, Cam and the team wil continue to suck

Cam just doesn't have the work ethic to succeed in the NFL. Plain and simple.
If you look at every successful QB...Brees, Manning, Rodgers...they are willing to put in the extra time and Cam is not. He's full of himself and doesn't think he needs to put in the extra work but he does. He'll realize it soon enough but I hope for his sake it isn't too late when he does.

I hope you're comparing the maturity levels and not talent.
quote:
I think Cam's better talent-wise than Vince Young and JaMarcus Russel, but the same mentality appears to be there
The only way these guys are similar is their skin color. These comparisons are really dumb and are completely baseless. People that say this are usually ones that want him to fail.
Cam is way beyond these two mentally and physically. He just had the most successful rookie season by a QB of all time. He ran up against a good defense in Seattle today and made a bad throw at the end of the game. These things do not mean someone is mentally weak. You say this because you expected and wanted him to be.

If dancing shirtless with dudes is wrong, I don't want to be right
quote:
Give me an example of what a great leader he is as opposed to a stat book. All NFL defenses were horrible last year because of the lockout; look at how many guys could've broken/and did break Marino's passing record.
I don't know what kind of leader he is in the NFL. He was an incredible leader at Auburn and his teammates raved about his leadership. He is still a young player that may grow into that role more prominently in the future. That argument is ridiculous and is just another pathetic attempt by people like you to diminish his accomplishments by making up shitty excuses.
