We have to have a at least one wideout that can catch, let's try some other guys at this point.

If you drop a pass, you sit.

That should be the rule from here on out

I suggested this in a thread yesterday, asking about Armand Williams and Fobbs. Was told neither of them had good hands. Could their hands be any worse than those receivers who have missed passes in recent games?

Also, there is one player who has looked good catching the football--Nic Jacobs. I think we should be using him a lot more, since he can actually catch the ball.

I know I will catch shite for this, but line hill or ware up at wideout. We have to have a possession receiver,at the least line one up at fullback.we had a lot of success with Jacob hester catching the ball from that position.44 is a beast but not an offensive weapon.

Time to pull a Josh Reed experiment with this team, or WR corp is awful...convert a DB or RB that wants more PT. Can't get any worse

Think we are all still waiting on the McGee experiment!

Then why haven't we seen more of Magee, given the poor performances of the others?

And not just to try & throw a gimmicky jump pass because he played some QB in high school?

All I can figure is that these guys catch balls in practice. It's definitely not translating to game performance though. Disappointing.

I'm guessing OBJ and Landry do awesome in practice so they don't try anyone else. Then just choke in the game. It's time to take a look at Williams, Fobbs, and Turner in live games.

I'd be willing to line up our RB's at wide receiver at this point. OBJ needs to sit for a game or two. Let Shep try to catch some, and leave it all wide open after that.

From experience with playing with the guy, I can tell you now Magee has some serious hands, but dont expect him to sit around and ride the bench when he knows he's good enough to play. Hes an extremely humble kid so you wont hear him complain, but he wont just sit and watch his whole career go by.

I agree. Why move Magee there if you're not even going to give him a shot when the offense is going to hell in a handbasket?

I've seen Turner make some jaw dropping moves with the ball in his hands. The only ball close to him in the spring game he picked up 33 yards. What's the worst that can happen? He drops the ball like OBJ? Doesn't get any separation like Landry?

The crazy thing is at both major scrimmages I attended T Magee had 4-5 catches out of the slot. Looked good doing to,good hands very hard to bring down........They must show us that on purpose to not show the true genius plays.....

I don't care if we go back to the wide receiver srceen,2nd 6 is better than 2nd and 10. We have to spead the field out in order to get our running game going.even a short passing game is better than nothing. Single back quick hits and ditch the 2 tight end formation.we don't have to throw the ball 40 yards to field to loosen up the run defense.

I think yesterday was his only drop this season. Boone is a keeper at this point IMO. OBJ is who needs a break.

Need to work the TEs more until the WRs come around. Jacobs looks like a pretty good receiver.
