Won 17-14 at Vanderbilt
Won 38-17 at Kentucky after trailing by 10 at the half to UK

There's no doubt they've looked amazing at home, but they've played two of the worst teams in the SEC on the road and looked less than stellar in both performances.

Not to mention Tiger Stadium on a Saturday night is a whole other monster than the two venues they've played in as well.

Just saying.....

If Alleman scores a TD, we'll be right back in the national championship hunt

The Vandy game was the opening game of the season, so I'd throw that one out.

They struggled for a half against UK, but then just destroyed them in the second half.

LSU has a shot if they can put some drives together, but they are facing an even better defense than they faced yesterday in South Carolina.

We will see a different team at home against SC. I don't know the line yet but I will be betting on LSU.

Hopefully the staff realizes we need to throw to the TE's and some short 5yd drag routes to keep the LB's honest and we will be fine.
Either way the game will be close because of our defense and playing at home. Many of yall are underestimating us at home.

If we don't make offensive adjustments the game the game will be close. If we attack their LB's I think we win.

From the way the board looks there will only be about 1000 people at the game

To the OP, FSU also looked like World Beaters at home until they went on the road and played a half-decent NCState...

LSU rolls next Saturday!

You mention USCe having to struggle against 2 bad opponents...sounds familiar (Towson and Auburn).

Yes, TS is a great advantage, but what concerns me is that USC is rocketing upward while we're trending downward.

They struggled in one game against Vandy to open the season. Never use first games of the season to mean anything, especially if they are on the road.

Secondly, neither of those teams are as bad as Auburn right now and they struggled for a half against UK, and then went on to destroy them. Big difference.

Absolutely. We are the ultimate trap game for USC'e. Not to mention that this LSU team is going to be seriously pissed off this week.

LSU wins.

I think we win with ease....just have a good feeling. I could see us losing all of our aways and winning all of our homes from here on out.

They were supposed to be pissed off the last several weeks after subpar performance but yeah I'm with you, I say we beat the cocks! Maybe rephrase that, we win!

I don't know if Les Miles has ever lost consecutive games. Florida is a legit team and they came into our stadium and played us blow for blow in front a crowd that was DESPERATE for a win. I think they will handle South Carolina if they can just produce any sort of aerial game (easier said than done).

LSU - 17
South Carolina - 14

Depends on how hungry USCe is, if they're truly a national championship team, they will battle through the adversity and come off with a win.

It's an uphill battle for them though, I think our players will bounce back after this loss but honestly, there's nothing in the offense's personality that shows me they believe they can jump back into the race yet.

If LSU can't play like they believe they're still in the race, then USCe will have a good chance at ending the home-game win streak for us. Gotta believe the LSU staff and players pull together after this loss and come back hungry for the rest of the season. Defense will be mean and angry every game no doubt. Playing at home is huge for the D and fans can help them out this Saturday. Offense is the biggest question mark because they don't need an opposing fan base to rattle them. Their problems need to be fixed themselves and the unit as a whole needs to have more cohesion.
