It's that media guide height bump...happened in HS basketball all the time. I was announced as 6'3", while in reality I'm about 6'1.5".

I really don't. Toure is a fine player, but he is a physical powerhouse, but he's not exactly a technical wizard. He has good technique. He's no Vieria, who was a bigger, faster, stronger, more technical version of Toure.
It's just really rare to find players over 6 foot who truly have superb technical ability.

It's what made RvP so damn beautiful to watch, that traitor. His grace looked so awkward.

Bho, believe it or not, I post what is. I have no need to embellish, as I believe all my posts have born out.
I gain nothing saying I'm taller, nor shorter. I know what I say as to my height doesn't affect what fellow posters think of my posts. Now, as to the height of the two beasts in question, I'm merely pointing out fact for all to be orientated. I sincerely doubt one would think less or more of them, based upon their height.
By the way, nobody caught it. When I met Zinedine Zidane, he still had some semblance of hair.

Yeah he is magnificent when receiving the ball. Adebayor and Ronaldo also have insanely good height to skill ratios. Also Ibrahimovic. Pastore is no slouch.
There are plenty of tall, skillful players. It's hard to tell sometimes because they usually such a physical advantages. They do have some advantages, but the main prerequisite for being a good player is the ability to do something with the ball.

I see them as different types of players. Cazorla is a way better athlete than Cesc. He doesn't have the passing range, but he has that rare ability to control the game from between the lines. He's a classic Spanish media punta. He's much less of a goal threat than either Cesc or Bergkamp, but his effectiveness can be seen in how much better Ramsey and Diaby have been playing this season. He gives a traditional runner CM an option to play the ball to in a forward position between the lines.
In general, Bergkamp and Cesc were concerned with playing the final ball. Cazorla can play a beautiful final ball, but he seems more interested in playing the pass before the final pass, if that makes any sense.

I was just poking fun with the Cesc comment. They are both wonderful in different ways.

That's what makes Peter Crouch's career so interesting. He's not great in the air, nor does he really play the physical, target forward role very well. He's just a fairly skillful striker who happens to built like a 6'7" beanpole.

Crazy is right. Cazorla knows what must be done instinctively, it's been drilled into Cesc.
Cesc may be more fluid and dangerous, but Cazorla is a crazy worker bee with out of this world technical skill.
