His fielding is isn't very good, he is way overpaid and his hitting has declined. But a cancer he is not. He got bent out of shape because of how many times he has had to make a position change, other than that he has been a model teammate.

Not at all. I still want him. He has just not been as great this year as he has in the past. I feel like he can and will be a great leader if he hangs around.

I still want him.

Yes but his temper tantrums in recent years due to diminishing roles is telling. He is the face of the Rangers but first base is about the only place he should play in the field and that is debatable. His bat comes and goes. He is old! No one wants to be told it is time to hang up their cleats but I do not know of another team that wants a DH with no HR power.

His defense is ATROCIOUS and I'd rather have his at bats going to younger players with higher ceilings. Give his at-bats to Moreland, Profar, and Gentry. His hitting's only going to continue to decline as he gets older.

I don't know...maybe if we hired a different manager I'd feel differently. I just hate the way Wash uses him.

The Rangers have forged quite a reputation for choking.

I totally agree with Wash, Ham and Young not needing to be on this team next year. I think Wash has made a number of bad mistakes that have cost us numerous games. Is it me or does it feel like whenever he makes a move to the bullpen, that you just know we are about to give up some runs, especially with men on base. It's because he refuses to go with his hot hand or he takes starters out that have been pitching good games, Just to go to a lefty lefty or righty righty matchup. Koji has been our hottest and beat pitcher over the last month, he'll strike out the side one inning and he's out the next, but Wash refuses to use him earlier in games or for more than one inning! I don't care who is batting and what side they ate batting from, you use the hot hand and let them freaking pitch. Ron's decision making sometimes is just baffling to say the least. When u choke three years straight, u might want to start by looking at the manager and his decision making

I've never been a fan of his stubbornness about righty/righty and lefty/lefty match ups. Other than his decisions in those situations, I think he is a good manager.

Ron Washington has made questionable decisions in the last few weeks of this season. This team has still made the postseason three seasons in a row. I can think of a ball club just down I-10 who would love to be in this position, hell even they'd love to be at .500 I'm a little unhappy... yes for now, but by the time spring training comes around, I'll be behind him once again.

Well... Pretty damn disappointing.

Wash isn't going anywhere any time soon. Might as well accept that.

I don't really want Hamilton here any more. Unless we can sign him to an affordable 4-year deal, let him walk. And we all know that won't happen.

Shitty way to close out, but that's the way it is.

I think they do too. I just want to know what goes on in his head sometimes.

Hard to replace 43/128.

Just hard to want him around right now. Something weird has been going on in the clubhouse recently, and it wasn't the Rangers' clubhouse we grew accustomed to seeing.
