Hands down for me its ATL/StL in terms of level of significance and how clear cut the call was. Oh, and it wasn't replacement officials.

GB. They had instant replay and still fricked it up.

The ATL/STL call was a much easier one to make. With all the time in the world to decide it.

eta: If we consider instant replay, then maybe GB/S

Instant replay could only determine whether the ball was caught or not-- not simultaneous possession.

They are both horrible. I would lean towards the GB call because it literally cost them the game. Braves would have bases loaded and one out, but still be down three runs. No guarantee they win if the right call is made.

According to SVP replay can determine possession in the end zone

Great. We'll hear Braves fans bitch and bitch and bitch until the season starts next year and when they choke again we'll start this over.

Some people need to read the rule, if a play is made by an infielder it can be ruled infield fly, regardless of where the catch actually happens. So lets look at the reasonable effort part: dude was camped under the ball until he hears what he believes is a call off from LF and ducks out if the way. The last part is the timely manner part, which I will concede it was a late late call, HOWEVER the ump must make sure it will be a reasonable effort play, hence the delay.

Right call IMO, does it suck for the braves? Yes, but its not why you lost, had 2nd and 3rd in three straight innings.

On that note: GB is the worse call

Both horrible, but this is supposed to be the best umpires MLB has, and those replacement tards had no business being there. Infield fly rule, 60 ft. in the grass, should NEVER be called. So Braves call was worse to me. I'm a Braves fan too, so obviously a little prejudiced.
