I honestly think there is still potential for the playoffs if we gel this Sunday night moving forward.

I'm not saying he's having an awesome year or anything. But there are plenty of others to blame before you get to Brees.

Drew Brees might have made some bad mistakes. But none severely impacted the game. Fact was that the defense hasn't stopped anyone in 4 games. They have given up college type numbers, especially in the running game.

Adam Schein is one of the worst on Sirius NFL radio. This is the same guy who kept saying Carson Palmer was better than Ben Roethlisberger. Went on and on about how great the coaces for the Raiders were when Russel was playing for them.

I'll take a coachless Saints with Drew Brees over a combination like Romeo Crennel and Matt Cassel any day...

It could be worse than 0-4...you could be Oakland, KC, Cleveland, Jacksonville, etc. with NO future, no hope...

In the article, he blames Brees getting $1.5 mil more than the saints offered as the reason why the saints lost Nicks, and Porter, AND Meacham.

he's been a Saints' fan for some time now. He's always pulled for us.

How is that funny?

Through our first for games we lost:
by 8 to the redskins
by 8 to the panthers
by 3 to the chiefs
by 1 to the packers.

We lost by a combined 20 points through our first 4 games. All of our losses were by one possession. And our offense did not look that good in any of them. You really dont think we could've scored 8+ points in our past 4 games had SP been on the sidelines?

I disagree.
I think our offense looked pretty decent in the Packers game.

So I think we'd be 3-1.

But I wouldn't laugh at your opinion like some people.

I can understand the argument for the Packers game. But I think there is a good chance we would've looked better than "pretty decent" on offense had we had SP.
