If we win...

Against Florida and USCe do we get #1 ranking. At that point in time Alabama will still not have beaten any team currently in the top 25. I would say we would jump to at least #2 since Alabama hasn't done anything to drop a spot. Computers might like our schedule though regardless of its a close game or not.

We'd have to look really good in both games or at least against South Caroline (South Carolina also has to beat Georgia this week in this scenario), and Alabama has to look bad in one of their wins.

Why do you care? We play Bama. If we're both undefeated at that point, it doesn't matter which one of us is #1.

I think a win vs Florida and another win vs a top 5 USC will boast us back up the polls however a win on November 3 will put Lsu back on top

I care because I like the thought of being number 1 in the polls. It really doesn't matter. It's just the idea.

Polls are not something we need to worry about. Winning games is. We win and things will take care of itself.

Are you serious?
We win out and you think we will miss out on # 1 or 2? Really?
That has happened only once to AU in 2004. BTW they didn't beat the #1 Team in the nation during their regular schedule.
We need to worry about UF and that is it.

I think we'll be alright. We play up to and down to our competition. It's just the way LM wins games. I'm not too concerned about Florida. USCe is home. I think I that was away it might be of concern.
