Interesting. Do you think that AARP is more concerned about it's aligment with the left being exposed or about being in the losing corner?

Good question. Many of us *oldsters* have cut up our AARP cards over the last 3-5 years.

Interestingly enough the same thing happened with the AMA for the same reasons. A lot of docs, myself included, ended their membership after they were said to support Obamacare. Their membership numbers have been plummeting ever since.

It's become very liberal and supports the Democratic Party (ie. Healthcare, etc.)so both my wife and I dropped out. None of my friends belong any longer once AARP's political stripes became evident!

I never joined as a result of learning about thier leanings, and they wrote massive sections of the Ocare parts and pieces along side Hancy and Harry

The AARP was very much behind Obama care being passed. Once it became public that they were strongly in support, the tried to back away from their position. Now, they are concerned about a backlash.
There needs to be an alternative to them formed that isn's a as selfish reflects conservative values and realizes that senior citizens are bankrupting this nation.

They stand to make tons of money selling supplemental insurance once Obamacare is implemented.
frick AARP, they aligned themselves with the liberals years ago. I read an article about their new leadership a couple years age and they're all libs. I'd like to see their membership numbers since they became so left wing. Hope they've lost most members.

I take great delight in using your membership application to wipe my a#% and then use the card to scope up my feces and sling it at my autographed picture of BHO (suitable for framing).
