Saturday lunch in Nola (I know weird but whatever). Casual but would like Guinness or good wine selection. And this one knows what rissotto is. (those who read my last thread about Irish house would appreciate) haha. I'm thinking domenica, houston's, sylvain, Italian barrel, katie's, or something on magazine. Help please.

You have a good list. I'm not sure what help you need. What kind of food does she like? Ask her where she'd like to go. You're still relatively new in town. If she isn't, use that. Ask her to suggest or ask her if there's a restaurant she's been wanting to try because you love trying new places. Pick one new to both of you.

I'll probably pick one from the list. She's a metarie girl, so she knows the town.

Well heck, Boon, you don't need help.

I'd pick Domenica, myself.

La Petite Grocery was a good lunch spot. Had a nice day date with my husband. Excellent wine and drink selections too.

That boy has more first dates than I had days of being married.

Makes you wonder about his ability to get second dates.

And OP, looks like you have a good list. I would also High Hat or Martinique (if the weather is nice and you can sit outside).

I've reconsidered. I'd go to Casamento's.

If this is the case, go wherever you want since trying to impress is not really much of an issue.

He has a very funny record of asking for recommendations.

Try domenica. Smoked meat gets the panties wet.
