I'd be a lot more worried had LSU given up 44 points, but scored 51 and won the game like UGA. Rarely do you see defenses get better over the course of a season. You see offenses get better over several games all of the time. The offense on the field against Washington is the LSU offense. Fumbles against Auburn & Towson screwed those games up. THAT's IT. Still rushing for over 200 and passing for 200. My 3 year old can tell that Mett is a much better QB than Jefferson or Lee, he's just been in the middle of a revamping Oline causing time issues.

LSU has a history of not fumbling the ball. It's not like the RB's forgot how to carry the ball. Sometimes fumbles happen for weird reasons, helmet on ball, bad snap, sack, whatever. I would bet the farm that the fumble rates go WAY down.

These are all the easy fixes for the offense. That's why young offenses often improve and are less concerning than defensive problems.

No offense, but I think the offense is chilled enough already.

I think most agree, but the offense has been going in the opposite direction. And there appears to me anyway, a loss of confidence.

HEY THREAD starter lol. You need to realize our offense has been HORRIBLE!! It has been really predictable since 08.
LSU fans are sick of it. LSU could have had about 3 national titles under Miles but instead we lucked our way into 1.

Bruh the in 2 years the negatards have had very little to bitch about.so let them have their fun. Never mind the fact that if we just correct turnovers, we roll in every game we've played.

I hope this was sarcasm but with our ignorant fan base, no one can tell. Yes Miles' offense have sucked so much that 4 OUT OF THE TOP 5 offenses IN LSU HISTORY, ARE LES MILES COACHED TEAMS, but continue to pass around this false myth like TM7 can't cover or that Flynn was this great qb.

Sorry but the offense is going into Game 6 and if your theory was correct, why did our offense worsen at the end of the year, including a big Zero against AL?

1. Miles has no damn clue on how to develop a quarterback. JJ proved that last year. JJ was recruited by Miles, coached by Miles for 4 years and NEVER GOT BETTER.
2. Last year in the first 5 games with Lee you were leading the SEC in just about every offensive category. Bring in JJ and your offensive passing and total yards to down the drain. And the National Championship game you pretty much throw the game down the drain by not making one damn adjustment at half time.
3. Have been through 3 offensive coordinators in his time here and we still see the same old crap. WHY? Look at the end of the Auburn game and see who has a play call sheet in his hands. Ill give you one guess.
4. Miles stated it himself the other night. Rely on the defense to win the game and play conservative after a lead. Now I will agree last year was an anomaly. This year, the theory is back. This was clearly his idea in the national championship game and it back fired because of his inept play calling. His team, he will run it his way no matter the consequence.
5. No doubt we have won a lot of games. No doubt these are the golden years of LSU football. And there is no doubt that Miles is still one of the most stubborn coaches in the history of LSU football. He should have realized after the Auburn game that this is not the same team as last year and a new approach was needed. I hope that he realized that Saturday night and has made the changes. Because looking at his past, I haven't seen a lot of adjustments when needed

So go ahead, blow me up as being a
"neggatiger". Until I see this team play with the talent it has the correct and efficient way, I will still be negative toward our 4 million dollar a year head coach. Like it or not, this is a business with a lot of investors and it is the investors and the players that will be hurt more than the coach with a 5 year contract and coach that will not loose a damn thing for his stubborness.
