If we were to crown the F & D board's least favorite restaurant, Mother's is in the driver's seat

Best advice is getting one on the way in where it won't be as crowded as others have said. That being said, a few days or so ago, someone mentioned getting a good poboy at Borgne (Besh's place in the Hyatt). I haven't had one there and it will likely be crowded as well.

What's Mannings like on game days? Making my first game of the season this weekend and was thinking about heading there for lunch.

There was a thread on Manning's recently and most of it wasn't very favorable. You might find it in the google search option. I've never been, but based on what I've heard, there are better places to get lunch.

Yea we were looking at Johnny's but it seems parkway is the place to be....we will get there early so location is no problem and we are willing to go anywhere...how about Surrey's for breakfast

That place is horrible. I had a debris po-boy a few weeks ago (free, ordered a bunch for work). I was seriously sick (not stop shits) beginning about 3 hours after I ate, lasting for 3 days. frick that place.

I'd go to Johnny's. Mandina's shrimp poboy is also seriously legit.

I would tell you to go to Guy's, but they should be closed. Go to Parkway or Johnny's.

Bear's in old metairie is one of the best non-seafood poboys. St. Rose tavern has the best roast beef by far.

I think Central Grocery is closed on Sunday.

Johnnies always delivers but don't go there with any preconceived notions that you going to experience fine dining.

Be sure and check before you drive-many of the best dives to get your fix are closed on Sundays.

Think your Westbank card just got pulled for not mentioning Dimartino's. You need to try World Deli.
