Maybe not.

In your mind, Is Gene Cox located in Monroe or W. Monroe?

Your thread got jacked a little bit. Sorry. Some of us truly miss the place. To answer your question, if you have a chance to get into Silver Spur I say do it. It has variety plus you can be at work 20 minutes after you crank your truck.

My answer is there are two. The one at finks/old Sterlington will always be Gene Cox to me then there is the one across the river that actually is Gene Cox.

I can only assume that the Gene Cox of Monroe you are referring to was on the corner of Finks Hideaway and Old Sterlington Rd. It is now what we call "New Randall's" although it's been there for quite a few years..

And yes I knew about the Gene Cox store in WM as well..

So what do you call the shell/circle k on the corner of Rowland Rd. and Hwy 139? I know some people call it "Old Charlie's store".. It is now called "Old Randall's"

Silver Spur still has private rights to a piece of BB. I may or may not have lived on Joe White road at some point in life that gave me access to all of Silver Spur. Nobody ever asked for any money when I was hunting it.

Me too. Grew up in Belle Meade. Probably hunted with you. Small message board.

I call it a miracle that its even there. We had a boycott on it because they refused to sale shotgun shells to anyone under 21 when you can buy a shotgun at 18. They would be open selling biscuits but be damned if you forgot your shells. Then Garvin bought it and we lifted the boycott. I really am amazed the place didn't get burned down.

That was a little before me but I think my sister was there when this happened. I saw the pictures. Dont think that senior prank has ever been beaten.
