Your thread got jacked a little bit. Sorry. Some of us truly miss the place. To answer your question, if you have a chance to get into Silver Spur I say do it. It has variety plus you can be at work 20 minutes after you crank your truck

Drove down Joe White yesterday evening. That is one beautiful piece of property.

crap, i was in there pretty much every day during that time.. I remember when Charlie was working the counter... Used to have a crowd of old farts in there drinking coffee every morning, i knew all of em... I saw Charlie a couple of months ago at a messican rest., visited a little with him... He said he's playing as much golf as he can... Same Charlie..

It has grown up. Lots of nice houses going up out there. The Traxler's just built a huge house out there in a brand new neighborhood.

Real rude. I hate that store. Charlie did several years at the Exxon in Start after he left Swartz. He gave it up a year or two ago and it got kinda rude too.

Yeah, I was in there the other day. Of course, the barbecue beef sandwiches are missing as well. Maybe that is a small blessing.

To the OP question, I would check out George Franklin versus Silver Spur.
