He's only a JR this year which would make him in the class of 2014.

Not if it's his last year of HS football due to age. He's a '13 because he'll be too old ot play HS football next year.

Quinn is a great player but you know it's not about production it's about potential. If it was based on production Fontenot would be on the list as well. How does Quinn compare in his frame to those other guys? Will those other guys pass him up once they fill out and mature? Obviously you know the other 2 players. My question is where are some of the kids from Catholic people on this board keep talking about?

Pittsburgh Steeler WR Mike Wallace, so he's learning how to run NFL routes right now

so can Noil run anything more than a go pattern?

why doesnt quinn have as much potential?

because he is white?

he's absolutely hands down better than both of those guys, with just as much potential

I know about Quinn and how good he is. I don't know about the other 2 guys. Quinn's production is off the charts (what more can this kid do) and he is only ranked 9th. Quinn is in the 6' range and plays for a dynamite QB in a great passing game. Just from reading comments Dupre is around 6'3" is that correct? LSU has enough 6' guys at receiver and don't need any more. Difference makers at receiver tend to have long arms and are in the 6'2" plus range. I think Quinn will play professional baseball one day as a testament to his athletic ability.

The code words are definitely being used. Polished = white
More potential = black

Yea but yall are arguing semantics for no reason.

They all have a chance to be great and we want all 3 in P&G.

Great reply LABornNRaised, I will say it like this....if I was an incoming 2013 or 2014 QB, and knew I had a chance for three or four years to throw to three WR's ranked in the top 100 of all recruits, I would feel like the king of the hill!

potential is always used for taller players. If a guy is 6'3 and can run you will always hear the word "potential" to describe the player.
Trey Quinn is a beast, but I cant say that he is better than Noil just because he has a quarterback to throw him the ball. Also Im not going to say Noil is better because I havent seen him make some of the ridiculous catches Ive seen Quinn make.

If I had to pick just one of the 3 wrs it would be Quinn. His floor is higher. Dupre is the best pure talent of the 3 and Noil the most explosive but Quinn is easily the more polished and flat out more productive player. Ask anyone that attended the LSU camps this summer and they'll tell you that Quinn outperformed everybody in attendence. He'll produce even if he gets no better. Dupre and Noil have to improve some before being ready to contribute. I say just take all 3 and maybe they all 3 pan out. Also don't forget Sims. He belongs in their class as well.

If Trey Quinn went to 124 FBS Summer Camps...he would get 124 offers...he has tremendous upside and great work ethic...will continually improve.

This is a special Class of WR's for 2014!

I'm sorry but no. By the way have you seen who we are going after at DB? Brown, Paris, H. Jones, among others. There will be no need to move him to DB if we get most of the ones we are after
