Anyone ever went there before? If so, how is the atmosphere and the quality of food?

I'm looking for a quiet upscale Italian joint in BR

pretty sure most people in BR have been to Gino's. It's good stuff.

I love Gino's. I usually sit in or near the bar which isn't quiet, but I like lively. I also like the piano player when that's going on.

You'll probably find some reviews in the dining guide.

Great place. I like the bar area but it isn't quiet. Other parts of the restaurant are. Ask them on the phone for a quiet table.

I think he's poking fun at a grammar issue and such. He might be on the hooch, but then again, he might not be.

OP Gino's is nice.

I have not been to Sobou. One thing I learned from Fitzmorris that I think he's accurate on is to give a place six months before trying. This allows the crowds to soften, the owners to work the kinks out and for it to generally start getting in a groove. Plus I just haven't had an opportunity. I have play tickets for this upcoming season which will have us down there more often and it will be tried then. I believe it will do well.

I did eat the roasted chicken at Gautreaus the other night and it's outstanding. I like that place when school is in, during football season. I think it picks up a bit in atmosphere.

I think Gino's is what you are looking for. I consider it one of the best restaurants in BR. Waitstaff are pros and the dining room runs like a well oiled machine. The menu is what you would expect from an old school American - Italian restaurant and they execute it flawlessly. (as they should after being open as long as they have). Prices are very reasonable. My wife and I went last week and got out of there for around 60 bucks and we had drinks and shared a dessert.
Atmosphere is pleasant enough but not ultra fancy. Lighting is low and I've never thought it was loud in there.

Do you work for Gino's? Because you're asking what it's like but you just described it perfectly.

I went to Gino's on a trip back home. But it was VERY loud. Went because Luther Kent was performing. Food was good as well.
