How much difference does not having Ben Wilkerson factor into our Offense

Last year, we had our OL coach up in the booth. But down on the sideline, we had a grad student that was a former NFL center who supposedly had a great mind for the position while he was here as a player.
He's now at Grambling St as their OL coach.
Since we've seen a lot of blocking breakdowns, etc, so far this year, how much of our problem has been the lack of a true OL guy that can talk to these guys on the sideline, adjust blocking schemes between series, and generally coach the OL during the game?
How much does not having him put Stud in a bind when trying to prepare an offense and a offensive line game-plan?

I think it's more injuries than not having big Ben.

Ben was in the booth for games.

That explains why one position isn't as effective as a blocker as it was. I'm talking more about the actual protection and blocking schemes. I'm talking about guys having a coach that can chew their arse a little between series. I'm talking about adjustments as the game goes on.

Was he? I don't remember it that way. I remember seeing him on the field with the OL during the game several times.
But if its true - then Stud was on the field. Same point stands - we had a guy who could coach the team and adjust the blocking schemes throughout a game. We had a guy on staff all week who could work those things as a coach, helping Stud as Stud prepares to be the OC for the week.
Now we have just one guy. Not on the field. We have Ensminger trying to do the OL coach job with the team during a game.

Both Stud and Ben were in the booth for games. Ensminger helped with the Oline on the field.
