I'm long on them so I'm holding. They are strong technically. And yea Jan 16 is the FDA decision .
Sometimes even an FDA approval will send a stock a little lower. I know it sounds retarded but it does. So regardless I'm holding.

Redstick had a great thread in 2009 through 2010. I think he landed a job in the financial sector and no longer posts about undervalued stocks.

Yup, I will probably just hold. I am still long on them. They were already profitable before this approval so this looks to make them even stronger. I only have 250 shares so it's not a big risk to gamble on them a bit longer. Wouldn't be surprised if they shot up to around 15-16 per share in the next couple months.

I created a " Lehman Watch Thread" on August 21, 2008.

Man, I was such a different person back then...

Saw the thread title at the top of the MB and thought to my self, "this thread looks familiar." Someone ressurected it from the dead it appears.

I'm slowly selling off stocks when I can turn a profit on them. This market is bad for my blood pressure. Apple keeps tanking on me and I'm too far in the hole to sell off. Gotta have faith. Sold APP and LEI off today for 15%+ each today.

I'm far too ignorant on the technical aspect of choosing stocks and realized the only way for me is to go long turn on stocks with low voltality. I would love to learn, but reading up and digesting is difficult and when learning by experience means losing money, I can't do it.

Have you considered an alternative like Mutual Funds? REITS? ETF's?

Bump

Anyone else in RAX?
Had sold half my holdings around $75, but the selloff yesterday was brutal on my other 50%.
Still up 10% or so with what I have left, but 2013 has me worried about for it.

Thoughts?

Doc - thanks for the walk down memory lane in August 2008 - just one month before FinancialArmageddon.

What ever happened to the Lehman female CFO? Gotta be at least a TV movie on her and $5 billion in losses. We'll get Jennifer Lawrence in the lead role. Or Katy Perry.

I actually improved my position a to 390 shares since then.
Second time I have gotten lucky on Bio techs. I did by 40 shares of DVAX that tanked, but fortunately I chose SNTS for my main holding.

Hope you are still holding.

Scare the hell out of me.

I'm liking Target at the moment. I'm up 8.5% over the last month. May be to late to buy into it though.

FB interests me a bit as it has held it's value in the mid to upper 20s for a few months now. I may take a look at it more before my next purchase. I am all tied up at the moment.
