Man, I've been looking since last year. There were supposed to be 5 or 6 new hotels open for this football season but I haven't been able to find the names of any of them or even if they're open.

I asked on the SEC rant a little while back this same question because all the hotels that are listed are booked and have been for some time, since last year.

We couldn't find a place.

believe it or not, theres a Staring Inn franchise in College Station, very similar to the one in BR off of Highland.

I have a room reserved in college station, and I may not be able to make it. If I can't make it, I'll check with friends first, then offer it on the ticket exchange. It's a suite with wet bar at country inn, I think it was just over $300/night with taxes.

Try around Montgomery or Lake Conroe. I am staying there withmy brother who says it is supposed to be 45 mins to the stadium. Hwy 105 goes right into College Station from there. Good Luck

You're better off in Houston before and after the game. Lot's more fun here in H-town!!

Stay in Austin and drive to CS. You will not regret it. It is a lot more fun than Houston, so much to do and you have 6th street (live music everywhere and tons of bars). The hill country is a lot prettier than Houston and it isn't a bad drive.
