Why not a 2-TE, 1-RB set with both TEs chipping?

No bail out options on the throw and greater likelihood mett forces it.

Yeah.

Maybe give Mett more than a second before having to avoid 2-3 guys.

If they are chipping end to inside, they release. I am mor in favor of one TE and a back in protection, so we can give a little help but also release theTE down the seam.

If you're getting so much pressure that you need 2 TEs in to chip, odds are you RB is bailing you out of much, may as well chunk it in the stands.

We don't have any TE's that threaten a defense in the passing game. It's basically a waste to have them out running a route.

Our WRs aren't good enough to get open

The 2 RB chips worked well. I'd like to see more of that with screens set up out of that formation.

screens

This. With the ends shooting upfield, toss a few screens to keep them honest

Just stating this in another thread. At least try the TEs. The WRs are dropping balls and the TEs aren't even getting a shot. Just saw an article where Richt was commenting on how good they are playing on O and would have never believed it based on their play in spring and fall practices. Maybe those guys would be better in game situations, doesn't hurt to try IMO.

Run some seam or quick option routes for the TEs after the chip along with a back making the quick loop out of the backfield.

They need to stop putting Hill in the backfield because he has no idea what a chip is or a corner blitz he just runs out for the pass.

If they want him in backfield then give him the ball and let him run.
