why would you come to lsu & play for miles if you are a qb heading to college? you are not going to develop. much less be a high draft pick. miles has been here 7 years, & he has yet to recruit & develop a QB. this is not about how many wins miles has, it's about QB development.

2nd year = Russell
3rd year = Flynn

Perilloux was a head case. The four year offensive misery followed. Mettenberger has exactly 5 starts.

So Miles won with Saban's QBs. Got it.

We have 2 outstanding QB's coming in next year. I hope they don't take stock at what is said about our passing woes on here.

You do realize that those two guys were developed by the head coach at Florida State...

Every other QB has significantly regressed as their careers have gone along.

Are you including Mettenberger too? Lee and Jefferson were never SEC caliber QBs.

You really think our QBs get worse? Pretty sure JL and JJ had their best season last year (minus the NC game)

Lee played pretty well in the NFL preseason for someone who is not SEC caliber.

Fisher left to become a head coach. What QB guru is available for hire?

Lee and Jefferson were SEC level QBs. JJ was offered by Bama and other SEC schools. Hell, there were scouts saying JJ was the best high school QB to come out of LA in 10 years.

Lee had multiple major college offers.

They got worse from bad coaching, go look at JJs stats and see how he developed.

If you don't think we have had inept offensive coaching, then you are in serious denial

Being a highly recruited high school QB does not equal SEC success.

Miles is not a QB coach.

I don't think Miles has ever professed to be a qb guru or developer so I don't think any qbs come to LSU to be groomed by Miles. I would take the victories under Miles with, in your opinion, underdeveloped qbs versus losses with highly developed, polished qbs.

No, but he's running the offense. Hell, Jimbo left because Miles would let him run his own show.

Jimbo left LSU laughing at the offense Miles wanted to run, I thought it was sour grapes but man he was spot on.

Jimbo left to become coach in waiting at FSU.
