This is an absolute masterpiece of a thread showing your excellent level of intelligence and proving you tenaciously seek to stay informed on all things Saints. I applaud your effort and would most certainly read again.

Adam Schefter September 30, 2012 Permission was given to Gregg Williams to attend NFL games, something he is expected to do for the first time since his suspension today, when the Rams host the Seahawks.

A couple of things that are disturbing about this are:

(1) just how brazen and obvious that this is a reward for GW's affidavit. Goodell just doesn't give a frick about anything except Goodell, which leads to my second point.

(2) GW's affidavit was all about giving Goodell cover in Vilma's defamation suit. Once again, it's all about Roger.

I sure hope Berrigan is watching all this. I can't wait to hear what Ginsberg has to say about this.

This is because he signed the affidavit as Goodell asked him to do like a good little boy.

This is crooked as frick and Goodell doesn't even care- just doing it out in the open. Unbelievable ...

And the only guy, nationally, that ever questions any of it is Mike Florio.

NFL's explanation:
quote:

The league's public explanation of this odd dichotomy is that Williams has been barred from employment, and this allows him to do what he wants.

And yet, he wasn't able to attend games until now.

This is pathetic. The NFL isn't even trying to pretend that they're being fair or honest.
