That's what I'm wondering. What were they hooking him up to?

Estes is trying to get him discredited or something of that ilk.

This episode was money

Carrie is going to try to cover for Brody and discredit herself

Estes is going to try to scapegoat saul because he feels threatened

Where does the Brody and Nasir dynamic go now?

best part of the episode was Brody yelling at Chris when he asked him to come back and finish the hearts game

Estes is definitely the mole
He is using the Brody/Nasir relationship to tie up the loose ends from the drone strike

Who else would have known about the box with the serial number to walden's pacemaker? And the combination to his safe and its contents. He is using Brody while he can then he will eliminate Brody too. That is why Quinn is there. To do Estes dirty work and to keep Dara del in control.

LINK

Nasir and Estes/dara del are working together and the second Estes can eliminate Nasir he will do it. Then Estes walks away as the hero and Dara del slips back into the shadows

Estes is going to pull out all the stops to discredit Saul and Carrie too

Brody is the ultimate black op and now the veep is out of the picture. Big foreshadowing when Brody said "how do you know this?" to Nasir on the cellphone

Nasir let Carrie walk to make sure Brody did what he is supposed to do. Carrie has no value to Nasir if she is dead and now she can be part of Estes plan to scapegoat her and Saul

he has tried to kill Nazir twice now. dont see how he is the mole. If it wasnt for Brody then Nazir was dead in the season premier which Estes could take credit for. This is way before tying up any loose ends from the strike.

I love that Carrie is going after Nasir with a lead pipe.

She's a card, that one.

ETA:

It's too dark to tell if she's got that crazy half grin on her face like she did when she was in the marketplace in the 2nd ep this season.

That episode just felt....off. Second one this season(along w/ the tailor episode) that it seemed like they just hired new writers and wrote a randon episode of 24. Brody's phone not tapped anymore? Carrie not telling them to hurry up and protect the VP? Saul assuming Nazir took Carrie but not assuming he would contact Brody? A lot of out of character moments.

Thought about that too.

Didn't bother me as much. Pretty sure that by the time she got the phone - He was dead and she knew it.

Had Dar Adel ever been mentioned before the last 2 episodes?

What is he? FBI?

I think Estes moves back and forth between Nasir and walden, he wanted either one of them dead for different reasons

Now that walden is dead, Estes will focus on killing Nasir
