Rewatching season two and in episode one Hezbollah knew Carrie was in Beirut even though she was disguised and had a very good cover. Saul is the one who told her she was being followed and he told her to give up and wait for them to get the ambassador. Carrie said no and ducked into the scarf shop ad dodged the Hezbollah operatives.
